Endowment Fund
Your Community Foundation is Taking a Big Step
A step that will insure its ability to fund work force education, and tourism efforts FOREVER.
The Cheboygan County Community Foundation is happy to announce the establishment of an Endowment Fund. An endowment fund is a fund established to provide long-term support for a particular nonprofit organization. The total amount of contributed assets are invested and then each year a portion of the
income earned is spent while the remainder is added to the principal for growth.
Amounts can be used in the name of the donor or for general purposes. This makes your investment a perpetual gift! The goal of the Cheboygan County Community Foundation’s endowment fund is to give donors an opportunity to donate larger amounts of money as a perpetual gift and, if desired, the donor
may have the opportunity to direct the use of funds. The Cheboygan County Community Foundation is interested in Endowment Fund contribution greater than $10,000 with the goal of raising substantial investments which will provide economic development in the community for years to come.
How can you help?
Consider gifting an endowment investment of greater than $10,000, include the Community Foundation Endowment Fund in your estate plan, and spread the word about this valuable opportunity to grow Cheboygan County!
